The United States has not only gone hammer and tongs to reject and sabotage the Rome treaty, but it also threatened to withdraw assistance to countries that depend on US aid, if they do not sign bilateral deals with the US!

To top it all, the US Congress has actually enacted a legislation giving their president power to use “all means necessary” to free any Americans the International Criminal Court takes into custody. Does this mean that the US will bomb The Hague if the ICC decides to try any American criminal!?

The state of affairs for poor children in Andhra Pradesh (the Indian state I come from) is saddening! It maybe the same across the country. For all the hype and hoopla about India being a country with great potential on the global stage, it constitutes of a skewed lot of lazy middle and upper class people who not only employee minor children to do their household chores, chores ranging from washing their utensils to cleaning diapers of their children, but seem to justify their actions on grounds that they are helping feed a poor soul! Arrrrrrrrrrgh, this is so screwed up. Worse still, polititians and policemen alike seem to enjoy the labours of these poor exploited children! Shame on these upwardly mobile lot…well actually I am not sure about the ‘upward’ part of it!
