Couldn’t get my attention off PhilG’s blog posting , where he comments on the Business Week article ‘Rise of India‘ and about outsourcing at MIT. He illustrates with a pinch of cynicism how one of the most respected universities in the world relies on a Gartner report to make decisions about it’s IT spending!!! Well, that they outsourced their OCW technical stuff to be developed in India is another story, and maybe I must thump on my inflated chest, and act patriotic about it. But it just makes me wonder if MIT is worth the money it charges a student, if all it does is look up a consulting company’s report to make decisions for itself.
