Ah! If you ever wondered what politicians from ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave’ do in life when their country is not at war or elections, check this out. They seem to be busy working to policing characters, uplifting communities and doing something for (the State of Virginia) their country, by hating Calvin Klein(?), adopting a ‘Droopy Drawers’ Bill that bans folks from letting their trousers hang low off their waists letting their underpants (boxers and strings) be peek-a-booed at! And, guess who’s gonna be paying most of ‘them’ $50 fines! Some say it’s for the ‘Blacks.’ Then again, the ‘bill’ was proposed by an Afro-American Democrat who got ‘inspired’ by the idea at a local barber shop.

And, folks in the west debate rules making Burqas compulsory as as evil!

Typically, drilling for oil in Alaska is not my business. Then again, when it comes to Yanks, it’s everyone’s business! Living on a planet with them folks is like living with a big retarded bully who’s nothing short of a neighbourhood nuisance. Just that there are no cops you can complain to!

And whenever, I read comments from a few Yank leaders saying “We should do everything we can to produce as much as we can,” I just hope I’d be long gone before folks who’d be living around think of nature as some green stuff you find in zoological parks.

And, talk about Alaskans! I find it really funny that far from not having to pay any income-taxes, every man, woman and child in this State gets a $1700 oil dividend from the State once a year !!! Now, isn’t this some great form of State sponsored bribery to ensure that people allow any future plan to ravage what might be one of this planet’s few untouched natural environments.

Ah, whatever!

Chinese politics make quite reading, if you look at it as news about a country that is litterally the global warehouse for every commodity ranging from slipper soles and hair lotions to apparels and electronics, well everything under the sky. Despite the muscle, they are quite amusing at times. A recent article in a Chinese online ezine illustrates their efforts to drum up support around their Anti secession law against Taiwan. The articles says ‘International community continues to back China’s Anti-Secession Law.’ And, the list of countries reads Uganda, Mauritania, Lesotho, Comoro, Bangladesh, Bahrain…..okay, you get the point :)

Okay, now what is even more funny is Chinese mainlanders referring to Abraham Lincoln as their inspiration as he fought secession and united the US of A. Someone ought to point them out to other things that this guy did with things like freedom, equality and democracy! And speaking about the last thing he also said ‘Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it.’ Now that was not what happened at the Tiananmen Square eh! But who cares? There’s money to be made smiling at them folks than taking a stance in today’s world. How else can you get all those cheap electronics and clothing.

Anyways, Karma will prevail. And, I see a silver lining out there.
